International Prize for Science & Research of the Cultural Fund of the City of Salzburg for Fritz Aberger
Fritz Aberger, Director of the Department of Biosciences and Head of the Molecular Cancer and Stem Cell Research Group, received the 10,000 EUR prize for his internationally recognized scientific achievements in the development of drug-based cancer therapies. The award ceremony by Vice Mayor Bernhard Auinger took place on 25.11.2019 in a festive setting.

On 16 November, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Kerstin Hödlmoser from the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience was awarded the Kardinal-Innitzer-Förderungspreis for her habilitation “Functional Impact of Sleep on Declarative and Engine Memory over the Lifespan”.
