2 June 2023 | in presence: The lecture addresses the question what timespan (detection) dogs are able to identify, find and follow human scent in an urbanenvironment. We investigated together with the Austrian and Bavarianpolice the possibility of person tracking dogs to identify humans by aged scentsamples in the lab as well as in reality by laying trails along crossing with an agebetween one and 64 weeks. We also compared the efficiency of dogs traineddifferently to follow human tracks.

Wolfgang Aschauer und sein Team (Katharina Obenholzner, Katharina Stiebler und Anna Stadler) haben am 16.5. im Zuge einer Veranstaltung der AK und am 25.5. am Tag der Plattformarbeit im Wappensaal des Wiener Rathauses die abgeschlossene Studie „Nur ein kleines Rad im Getriebe? Eine Branchenanalyse zu Fahrradkurier:innen in  Salzburg“ präsentiert.
