Humans have fundamentally changed landscapes and interfered with global processes over a very short period of time, and have in some cases brought them into a state of imbalance. We have arrived in the so-called “Anthropocene” era – the geological age shaped by humans.
Jörg Paetzold visits UC Berkeley for research project
Jörg Paetzold is currently on academic leave for a research project at UC Berkeley, funded by the Max-Kade Foundation of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The research project examines the impact of parental care dependency on adult children’s labor supply, with a special focus on how public policies can mitigate the negative labor market effects from care giving.
