Mr. Leigh Turner, His Majesty’s Ambassador, attended the Phonetic Lab of the Department of Linguistics. An avid hobby-linguist and dialect enthusiast, Turner was particularly interested in the ultrasound studies that Dr. Thomas Kaltenbacher conducts with English learners.
