21 outstanding scientists from the University of Salzburg have been listed in a recently published ranking by Stanford scientist John P.A. Ioannidis and his team of the world’s two percent most important scientists. In total, about 160,000 scientists are among the top two percent.

It is a special pleasure for Prof. Zoe Lefkofridi (PLUS) and Prof. Michaela Schwarzbauer (Mozarteum), that the communication sociologist, author and artist Dr. phil Natasha A. Kelly will be the speaker at the next “Gender, Lecture and Performance Series”.

Viktoria Jansesberger, master’s graduate and newly qualified research assistant and prospective doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science and Sociology, and Tim Niklas Becker have both received the Federal Minister of Education, Science and Research Award 2020 for their outstanding academic achievements.
