5th Reception of Religions – Focus: Bahá`í
The reception will be held on Tuesday, 10 November, 2015, at the Faculty of Catholic Theology, Universitätsplatz (Salzburg), at 18:15 in the Kollegienkirche (Religion unifying prayer – designed by the Afro-Asian Institute Salzburg). At 19:00 there will be a reception in HS 101 of the Faculty of Catholic Theology (Universitätsplatz 1, EG).

On 03 November, 2015, the book presentation “Kräuterkunst & Knochensäge. Medizin am Hof der Salzburger Barockfürsten”by Christoph Brand Huber and Edith Tutsch-Bauer will take place in the large auditorium of the University of Salzburg.
Call for Papers: Political Philosophy and Child Poverty
The workshop “Political Philosophy and Child Poverty” will take place on August 24, 2016, at the Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research, University of Salzburg, as a pre-conference workshop to its 2016 Annual Conference on “Child Poverty in Times of Crisis”. We invite political philsoophers and theorists to this workshop and to reflect on child poverty. The invited speakers for this workshop are Colin Macleod (University of Victoria) and Serena Olsaretti (ICREA-Universtat Pompeu Fabra).
