From September 07th-09th, 2022 the twelfth Salzburg Conference for Young Analytic Philosophy (SOPhiA 2022), organised by current and former students of the University of Salzburg’s Department of Philosophy (Humanities), will be held. It is a public conference. The official languages of the conference are German and English. The presentations will be given by philosophy students (pre-doc).

Great success for Giorgia Nasi from the CCS research team of Iris Gratz. At its last meeting, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) decided to fund Giorgia’s project on the role of T cells in immunological cancer defense with more than 310,000 EUR.

Great success for the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg: in the annually published Shanghai Ranking, the university has improved massively compared to the previous year and is now also among the nine top universities in Austria.
