A burglary in your own home is a shock. The likelihood of such an offense will now be predicable due to a Police software that was co-developed by the University of Salzburg. With the new forecasting software, the Austrian police should be able to better predict the risk of a renewed intrusion, and accordingly, increase their presence in the area, thus preventing further break-ins.

The Salzburg FWF doctoral program “Immunity in Cancer and Allergy – ICA” and the Vienna FWF doctoral program “Molecular, Cellular and Clinical Allergology – MCCA” organized a joint symposium scheduled for 16 – 18 February, 2015, in Salzburg.
