FWF project on metastatic niche formation and tumor immunity in the liver granted to the Schmidt-Arras lab
In its last meeting, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) approved the project proposal of Dirk Schmidt-Arras from the Cancer Cluster Salzburg and the Department of Biosciences and Medical Biology (PLUS) on the role of acute phase proteins in metastatic niche formation and tumour immunity in the liver with a total amount of about 420,000 EUR.

FWF project on induction of innate immune memory by carcinogenic H. pylori granted to AG Horejs-Höck
Congratulations to Jutta Horejs-Höck from the Department of Biosciences and Medical Biology, whose proposal on the induction of innate immune memory by the class I carcinogenic bacterium Helicobacter pylori was granted approximately EUR 400,000 by the FWF/Austrian Science Fund.
