Christine Gfrerer’s Master-Thesis “Two Parallel Alignment Algorithms for Big Number of Strings” (and her co-authors Rade Kutil and Marián Vajteršic) received the outstanding poster paper award at the High Performance Computing And Simulation (HPCS) conference in Innsbruck, Austria on July 21st 2016.
