The PhD student will work on the German Science Foundation project, „The Last Pulse – dating the  youngest deformation in the Alps with ESR thermochronometry (LUNAR)“, as  a part of the priority programme, Mountain Building Processes in 4  Dimensions.

The post holder will be appointed at LIAG mainly to do ESR dating of  fault rocks as well as samples across four major faults in the Alps, the  Simplon, Brenner, Giudicaria and Salzachtal Faults.
