The Language Centre is offering a varied and diverse course programme for all language enthusiasts once again this semester.

Registration for PLUS and Mozarteum students from 16th September to 11th October 2024.

Staff members, external  participants, members of the Alumni Club and MORE students can also register during this period too.

We offer general courses in 12 languages as well as numerous special courses in German and English academic language and Business English. There is also another course for multilingual language learning: “Learn Romance through Networking” and the course “Culture and language: Austria and more” for learners of German as a second language.

Additional services for individual language learning

The Language Centre also offers a wide range of additional services to enable participants to shape their language learning according to their needs. This ranges from self-study materials in the library and media library, a tandem language learning partnership to a language meetup that takes place several times a semester.

A new addition to the program is language learning support which is integrated into the “Language learning: diverse and individual” course.

Supplementary Study Programme “Languages” and “Asia-Pacific Studies” (for students of the University of Salzburg)

PLUS students can bundle their acquired language skills in the form of the supplementary programme ‘Languages’. You can find information about the language supplement here: https://www.plus.ac.at/sprachen.From the winter semester of 2024/25, the supplementary study programme “Asia-Pacific Studies” will be offered (cooperation between the Asia-Pacific Forum and the Language Center). Language courses in Asian languages are combined with thematically relevant courses. Dates for registration

Please note:

• You need an appointment to register for a language course.
• Registration appointments are only available ONLINE via this Language Centre page.
• From Wednesday, 11th september  8:30 a.m., registration appointments will be  available for PLUS and Mozarteum students.

Staff members, external interested parties, members of the Alumni Club and MORE students can still register during this period.

• Registration for an appointment does not constitute registration for a language course.
• Please allow sufficient time for consultation and registration.
• Registrations by telephone or e-mail cannot be accepted.
