Kurt Zopf Award

Two papers from our department received the university’s Kurt Zopf award. We congratulate Dr. Mateusz Pawlik and Prof. Nikolaus Augsten for their work on ”Efficient Computation of the Tree Edit Distance,“ and Dr. Sebastian Hegenbart and Prof. Andreas Uhl for their paper on “A scale- and orientation-adaptive extension of Local Binary Patterns for texture classification.”
