AMU hosted the kick-off Meeting of the second phase of development of CIVIS. Key partners in the new „CIVIS 2“ structure came to Aix-en-Provence to meet and to officially kick-off this exciting new step of the Alliance!

From 8th to 10th November, 100 people gathered for the meeting: members from the Board of Rectors and Steering Committee, African strategic partners universities, Student Council chairs, coordination team, Institutional Coordinators, Officers, Heads of Units, Hubs and Open Labs representatives.The meeting gave members of the CIVIS governaning team alongside specialist CIVIS the opportunity to meet and exchange with representatives from the 6 African Strategic Partner Universities. This will serve as a good basis to deepen the cooperation between CIVIS members and African partners.
