P. Matthias Christian SVD was born 1941 in Großarl/Austria and joyned the order of the Steyler Missionary (SVD) in 1960. In 1968 he was sent to Taiwan, where he was working as a pastor and studied the chinese language and philosophy. From 2008 on he taught philosophy at the St. Joseph University in Macau, China. Since 2014 he’s theaching philosophy at the St. Paul’s Seminary in Juba (South Sudan).
