GI_Forum focuses on an international audience that shares an interest in applied Geoinformatics. We wish to attract researchers who design, develop and apply advanced methods and techniques of Geoinformatics to a broad range of application domains. GI_Forum is envisioned as an attractive discussion and publication platform for both young and well established scientists.

We solicit papers on emerging topics and research outcomes related to Geoinformatics methodology such as data acquisition, spatial analysis, visualisation, distributed and mobile services, dynamic modelling, simulation. Application fields comprise natural resources, health and environment, sustainable management of resources such as energy and water, transportation and infrastructure, participation and administration as well as security and emergency management.
