During the last board meeting in the end of November, the FWF decided to prolong the successful Doctoral College „Imaging the Mind“ (DK IM) at the Department for Psychology (Speaker: Prof. Manuel Schabus; Deputy: Prof. Josef Perner) for a final third funding period. Currently, there are 41 FWF-funded doctoral colleges in Austria, the DK IM at the University of Salzburg is the only DK in the field of psychology. The new faculty also includes Assoc.-Prof. Kerstin Hödlmoser and Prof. Jens Blechert from the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience. For another four years, the funding will ensure the excellent education of an international cohort of doctoral candidates in different fields of cognitive (neuro-)science.
