Erasmus+ BIP „Sustainability and Outdoor Tourism in Focus: National Park Hohe Tauern“

This Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program offers advanced BA and MA students the chance to explore the dynamic relationship between tourism, sustainability, and mobility. The program combines virtual learning with immersive fieldwork in Austria, focusing on the National Park Hohe Tauern and Salzburg. The course awards 6–7 ECTS and evaluates participants on class participation (10%), a group research proposal (30%), and a final presentation (60%). Virtual sessions will run from April to June, followed by a five-day fieldwork excursion (June 20–24).

  • Critically assess visitor motivations, local perspectives, and institutional challenges.
  • Engage in discussions on socio-ecological transformations and sustainable mobility.
