On March 3, 2025, Professors Brigitte Schels (Department of Sociology and Social Geography) and Tanja Bührer (Department of History) held their inaugural lectures in the House of Social Sciences.

The new professors were introduced by the Head of the Department of Sociology and Human Geography, Kyoko Shinozaki, and the Deputy Head of the Department of History, Sebastian Haumann. The participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Martin Knoll.
