Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881-1973), born in Malaga as the son of a painter and an art teacher, was one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century. As well as painting, which made him world famous at an early age, he also worked in pottery, sculpture and poetry, among other things. 25 October 2023 was the 50th anniversary of his birth.

Exhibition of the book collection

The UNIPARK branch library is dedicating an exhibition (designed by Alma Scope) to the artist, based on the book collection. It focuses on the main themes of his life as reflected in his work.
