An article on artificial intelligence by Hannah Altehenger of the University of Konstanz and Leonhard Menges of the Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS) will soon be published in the Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy.

The Austrian National Bank (OeNB) supports the research project “Human-Algorithm Interactions in Economic Decision Making” of Alexander K. Wagner at the PLUS Department of Economics with an Anniversary Fund of about 250K Euros. This project aims to advance the understanding of some of the key changes that human-AI collaborations bring to economic decision making by investigating AI-supported human decision making in two important economic domains: pricing and demand planning.

Anna Stelzer received the “Award of Excellence” (Staatspreis Dissertation) 2023 for her outstanding dissertation on monetary policy in the euro area. The former PhD student at the Department of Economics of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg  wrote her dissertation under the supervision of Professor Florian Huber.
