Univ.-Prof. Dr. Aho Shemunkasho visited Prof. John Healey, emeritus Professor for Arabic and Middle Easter Studies at the University of Manchester, to invite him to teach in Salzburg. It is planned that Prof. John Healeyvisits Salzburg in the summer semester 2019 and offers a class on “From Paganism to Christianity: the linguistic context of the emergence of early Syriac and the Christianization of Edessa”.
