It was an international meeting, with 36 participants from 18 different countries (among them Mexico and the USA) each contributing with a talk from the closer or wider field of magnetically induced molecular currents. We had a cultural program including a session on Bavarian domestic beer production and tasting, a guided tour through the palace of Herrenchiemsee and the Augstiner Chorherrenstift where the German constitution was drafted 75 years ago and finally a festive evening dinner with a tiny musical diversion. Many scientific discussions were held and future collaboration projects are envisaged, such as a COST financed summer school in 2025. Our cooperation partner BAYHOST represented by Nikols Djukic from the University of Regensburg has supported us in all these activities and some participants have already explained interest in future collaborations with this foundation. During a plenary discussion, we made several key decisions regarding the future of the MAGIC meeting. First, it was decided that the next MAGIC conference will be hosted by Dr. Cate Anstöter, currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2026, with Dr. Igor Roncevic expressing interest in organizing MAGIC-VII in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in 2028. Second, a significant number of participants expressed interest in holding a workshop-style spin-off of the MAGIC meeting in the intervening years. The main objective of this workshop would be to provide hands-on lessons and exercises focused on computational methods of broad relevance to the field. The inaugural MAGIC workshop will most liekely be organized by the Salerno group in 2025, with both online and hybrid formats being considered in addion to in-presence sessions.
