Languages for specific purposes
In addition to our “classical” language courses, we would also like to draw your attention to our language courses with a specific focus. The requirements in these courses are based on the specific course programme. They will be announced in the first course unit.
Special courses in the summer semester 2024
We offer academic language courses in German and English for all students, early career researchers and anyone else who is interested: These courses teach study-specific skills (“literacy across the curriculum”) that enable students to cope (linguistically) with the demands of everyday university life. For all learners of German as a second language who want to improve their writing and grammar skills to B level, there is the course “German as a foreign language: Writing and grammar B1/B2”. We also offer an English course in Business English and Business English: Conversational Skills. A new addition to our programme for all those who want to expand their language skills independently and plan and reflect on their learning process is the course “Language learning: diverse and individual”.
