    International Week 2024:

    The Department of International Relations and its cooperation partners cordially invite you to this years International Week 2024.

    We have put together a very colorful program for students and employees of PLUS.

    Take advantage of the opportunities to find out about internationalization, ask questions, get answers, meet experts and expand your international network and cultural skills.

    Registration is not required for any of the events, which take place either online, hybrid or in person.

    The submissions for the “My semester abroad 2023/24” photo competition will also be presented at this event.

    How does a semester abroad work as a PLUS student?
    Where can I go and what scholarships are available?

    What does Erasmus+, ISEP or Study Abroad mean? We will answer these questions and everything else about funded stays abroad at our online meeting.

    Would you like to spend a semester abroad, but everything is a little more complicated for you? It’s not! We’ll tell you why!

    Coffee and advice for students with disabilities, chronic illness and/or care responsibilities
    We chat about PLUS support services and scholarships over coffee, juice and cookies in a confidential and freely accessible atmosphere

  • 19th March: International Café & photo competition – with award ceremony

    International Café and photo-competition to showcase foods, games and snacks to learn about different cultures and nations in the PLUS community.

    An opportunity for students to share their culture, experiences and meet new people. Tables will have delicacies from exchange students’ backgrounds.
    Through bridging local and international cultures, ideas are exchanged, friendships are made and community is fostered.

  • 21st March – CIVIS @ PLUS – Our chance

    PLUS has been a member of the European University Alliance CIVIS since March 2022.

    CIVIS is an alliance of 11 leading European universities and a further six universities in Africa. CIVIS focuses on the design of new joint study programs, the promotion of research cooperation and the expansion and exchange of know-how between the respective administrative units. CIVIS promotes innovative problem-based learning and teaching methods and aims to strengthen the social commitment of all university members within the network and in interaction with local, regional and global partners.

    With the following events, the alliance introduces itself to all interested PLUS students and staff and invites them to participate and get involved.

    Take advantage of the opportunities for information and exchange, contribute your own concerns and ideas and support us on this exciting path together. The events are open to all target groups.

  • 21st March: Study and work in Austria – information on residence permits

    Are you keen on studying and working in Austria? Then this event is for you.

    Gain insight and practical information from experts on studying and working in Austria. Topics like eligibility and the diferent types of residence permits will be discussed.
    In this event, you will discover the options that Austria offers in terms of studying and will also be introduced to local laws after your graduation in Austria.
    You also have the opportunity to ask your queries and concerns and get advice from foreigners’ law experts!

  • 21st March: Speedfriending – international students meet Salzburg students

    You are in the mood for music and new friends?

    As part of the international Week of the University of Salzburg, there is also room for fun and friends:

    In cooperation with the Glorious Bastards there will be a “Speed-Friending International Edition” event!

    Wondering what that is? This event is for international students, but also for all local students who feel like dropping by. On the roof terrace of the Glorious Bastards in Europark, which is exclusively reserved for you, you can get to know new friends in your studies. Here you’ll have the chance to try one of the restaurant’s infamous burgers, meet new people while speedfriending, and celebrate student life with cheap beer and good music. Sounds like a perfect evening, right? International and also local students are invited to attend this event and to get in touch with each other!
