Master’s Programme in Transdisciplinary Studies of Climate, Environment and Energy (TRACEE)
Start of enrolment for innovative Master’s degree programme TRACEE
The new Master’s programme Transdisciplinary Studies of Climate, Environment, and Energy (TRACEE) trains specialists for global environmental and climate challenges. Students can choose from various fields of study, study at several universities and build international networks. The programme is coordinated by Stockholm University.
TRACEE offers a practice-orientated education aimed at understanding and solving complex climate, energy and environmental problems. The interdisciplinary curriculum integrates natural sciences, social sciences, humanities and law and promotes a holistic approach to sustainable solutions.
The University of Salzburg offers two specialised focus areas: ‘Environmental Humanities and Law’ and ‘Transdisciplinary Approaches to Climate Change’, with a focus on legal and ethical aspects of environmental policy.
