Through my research, I aim to gain a better understanding of natural hazards, their interactions and cascading effects, and their impacts on the environment and society. I focus on the development of remote sensing-based methods for mapping, monitoring, and characterising various natural hazards (particularly landslides) and geomorphological features, and assessing spatio-temporal landscape dynamics in an interdisciplinary manner. Roberto Mulero-Martinez

Roberto Mulero-Martinez, MSc [2021/2022]
Researcher | PhD candidate at University of Cádiz

The aim of my research is to improve and exploit remote sensing products in coastal areas for understanding the different agents involved in ocean dynamics, with a special interest in obtaining realistic surface currents and sea level variability measurements in coastal areas, using high-resolution altimetry data, land-based high-frequency radar and numerical weather prediction model such as WRF.
