Differential Regulation by the GLI Transcription Factors

The three Gli transcription factors bind the same DNA sequence, but can have different regulatory effects. Target gene induction or repression can vary qualitatively and quantitatively according to cellular and developmental context. The aim of our work is to define mechanisms of the specificities of Gli proteins using in vitro, cell-based and bioinformatic methods.
