Short vita

Burkhard Gniewosz has been Professor of Educational Science with a focus on quantitative methods at the Department of Educational Science at Paris Lodron University Salzburg since 2016. Burkhard Gniewosz studied psychology at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where he received his doctorate in 2002 and habilitated in 2012. Between 2002 and 2007, he worked as a research associate and research assistant at the Department of Educational Psychology. From 2007 to 2013, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Educational Research at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Between 2013 and 2016, Burkhard Gniewosz held the professorship for Youth Research at the Department of Education and Rehabilitation at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
