Short resume
Carina Imser, MA, is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Educational Science (since fall 2018 at the Department of Educational Science, School Research and, School Practice) at Paris Lodron University Salzburg. She is a trained elementary teacher and studied pedagogy and ducational cience at the University of Salzburg.
After completing her studies, she worked as a teacher at the Educational Institute for Elementary Education, teaching edagogy and urative & pecial ducation. As a research assistant at the Austrian Center for Gifted and Talented Education (ÖZBF), she focused on resource- and strength-oriented education. She later worked as a Senior Scientist at the Department of Educational Science, specializing in childhood research. Additionally, she is a certified parent trainer and has designed and conducted workshops and lectures for parents.
Main work interests
Her teaching focuses on inclusion and diversity as well as communication and counseling.
