Maria Hadzara completed her undergraduate studies in Greek Civilisation (2002-2007) at the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science degree in Cultural Organisations Management, which she completed between 2014 and 2020 at the same university, School of Social Sciences.

Since 1984, she has been employed by ERT S.A., where her radio broadcasts focus on a range of topics related to the Greek language, classical mythology, Greek poetry from Homer to the present day, and other subjects of cultural significance. Since 1994, she has collaborated with the Greek singer Maria Farantouri, providing support in the organisation of concerts and the management of her official website.
