Physics didactics in Salzburg
The website “Physikdidaktik-Salzburg” is an information site for students, pupils and teachers. It contains publications, projects, useful teaching materials and further links in the fields of physics and physics in schools. Responsible is Assoz. Prof. Dr. Alexander Strahl, the head of the AG Didaktik der Physik.
Published here is the journal Delta Phi, which with its diverse, current content from physics and physics didactics is aimed at a broad audience interested in physics and especially at (prospective) teachers.In the subcategory Delta Phi B mainly contributions of students to didactical research as well as to teaching methods are published. In Delta Phi C , contributions on freehand experiments and physics shows are published. Here you can find the student project “Freihandkoffer Physik”. It is a collection of instructions and materials for various freehand experiments from all areas of physics, practically packed in a suitcase. Four different versions have been developed and compiled by students of the University of Salzburg over the last years. The finished scripts are made available online here, so that readers can recreate their own freehand cases.
