Research Interests

My research interests lie in the field of computational materials science. I am interested in understanding processes at the adsorbate-substrate interface via theoretical electronic- structure calculations of surfaces and surface-supported nanostructures.

Academic Qualifications

2006 – 2010:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry – Module Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Sofia University, Bulgaria

• Master’s degree in Computational Chemistry, Sofia University, Bulgaria

• PhD in Chemistry with Dr. Federico Totti, Laboratory for Molecular Magnetism, University of Florence, Italy
• Thesis: “Single-Molecule Magnets and Surfaces at Density Functional Level of Theory: A Study of Their Properties Before and After Adsorption”
