The bachelor’s programme Language – Business – Culture combines business, foreign language and intercultural skills. Students can choose between a Romance language (French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish) or a Slavic language (Polish, Russian, Czech) and acquire application-oriented skills of language practice, cultural studies and business disciplines. The master’s programme in law and business deepens the content of the bachelor’s programme in law and business with a focus on business. There are four specializations to choose from: Accounting and Taxation, Strategic Management (expiring in 2023), Banking and Finance, and Human Resource Management. The degree program provides comprehensive problem-solving skills for the corresponding job profiles. Depending on the topic chosen for the master’s thesis, this education also provides direct access to further doctoral studies in law or business and economics. The objective of the doctoral programme in business and economics is in particular the further development of the ability to conduct independent scientific work. Proof of this is the writing of a dissertation as an independent scientific achievement. The doctoral programme in business and economics builds on the knowledge of scientific theory gained in the master’s programmes in law and business resp. businesss and economics and serves to deepen the student’s knowledge of special topics while at the same time perfecting the student’s methodology. The standard duration of study is 6 semesters; upon completion, the academic degree "Doktor bzw. Doktorin der Wirtschaftswissenschaften" (Dr. rer.oec.) is awarded.
