About the Person
Birgit Mitter studied Political Science at the University of Salzburg from 2015 to 2020. During that time, she worked as a study assistant and tutor for research methodology at the associated department from 2017 to 2019. Subsequently, she gained further experience as project staff in the “RESiM” project, which focused on the European internal market. Since 2020, she has been working on her doctoral thesis at the interdisciplinary Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS), exploring European projects and funding mechanisms in the cultural sector. In addition, she deepens her knowledge of quantitative data analysis through the Master’s program Data Science and is involved in various projects related to local and regional politics. As part of the EU-funded project “FOODIS,” she continues her interdisciplinary career, supporting the team in data analysis and project management.
