Academic career

2014 – 2017

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with University Rank 1 at Monad University, India. Additionally, I undertook an internship in the Department of Biochemistry at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India.

2017 – 2019

I earned my Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India. During this time, I worked on the project titled “PPlncRNAdb: Putative Peptides Translated from Non-Coding RNAs in Plants” at the Bioinformatics Facility, under the supervision of Dr. Amrendra Sharma at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, India.

07/2019 – 03/2022

I worked as an Application Specialist (LC-MS/MS) and Bioinformatics Lead at Vproteomics, New Delhi, India.

03/2022 – 11/2022

I served as an LC-MS Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific India Ltd, focusing on nanoHPLCs, Orbitrap mass spectrometers, and method development.

11/2022 – 05/2024

I worked as a Scientist (LC-MS/MS) at Vproteomics, New Delhi, India, where I managed a team and was involved in biomolecule extraction, characterization, data analysis, and bioinformatics analysis.

05/2024 – 08/2024

I worked as a Metabolomics Scientist (Bioinformatics) at Elucidata, headquartered in San Francisco, CA. My role involved serving as a Mass Spectrometry Expert and contributing to the development of MSI-based metabolomics data analysis.

10/2024 – Present

I am currently pursuing doctoral studies in method development and multi-omics characterization of extracellular vesicles using advanced mass spectrometry at the University of Salzburg, under the supervision of Prof. Christian Huber.
