New outdoor signage for our university buildings

As of January 2022, and thus to mark the start of the 400th anniversary of its founding, the new organisational structure of Paris Lodron University Salzburg has come into effect. It now consists of 6 instead of 4 faculties, and the Faculty of Digital and Analytical Sciences is completely new.

Now all university buildings are getting new, uniform signage, which will further increase the visibility of the PLUS in the city of Salzburg.

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the University’s founding, which is also the 60th anniversary since its reestablishment in 1962, you can dedicate a sign to the University on which you will be mentioned by name. The donation amount is 300, 500 or 1000 euros, depending on the university institution and location. The donation will be used for academic research.

Your donation is tax deductible

As a donation in favour of scientific research, the amount (minus 40 euros pro rata production costs for your name on the sign) is tax-deductible in Austria. The university reports the donation to the tax office.

An institution as large as the university is constantly evolving. Therefore, changes in the building situation and university structure are also possible in the coming years. A sign sponsorship acquired now is valid until 2030. In the event of a possible change of location, the sponsors will be informed.
